A Breakout Year for Theo Day

In just twelve months, Theo Day has transformed from one of Montreal's emerging singer-songwriters into an artist quickly earning recognition across Canada's independent music landscape.

Following the release of his debut EP Homegrown and a string of acclaimed singles throughout 2026—notably "Leave You Behind," "Oh, My Lanta! (out August 6)," and "Make Believe (featuring Olivia Ridgely)"—Theo has seen remarkable growth across streaming platforms and social media. His audience continues to expand with thousands of new followers discovering his music through short-form content, live performances, editorial playlists, and word of mouth.

His music has landed on major editorial playlists across Spotify and Amazon Music, including New Music Friday Canada, Pop All Day, Just North of Nashville, Fresh Folk & Americana, Brand New Music, and Pop Eh!, introducing his heartfelt blend of indie folk, folk-pop, and indie rock to listeners across North America.

On the live front, Theo's momentum has been equally impressive. Following standout performances at Departure Festival, School Night Toronto, and numerous festivals throughout the summer, he reached a major career milestone by joining the lineup for LASSO Montréal, one of Canada's premier country and folk music festivals. The booking came less than a year after releasing his first official music, highlighting just how quickly his live career has accelerated.

This September's Petit Campus performance marks his second annual Montreal headline show, building on the success of his sold-out hometown debut and offering fans the opportunity to experience his biggest production to date.

First Stop: LASSO Festival

Before stepping onto the Petit Campus stage, Theo will make one of the biggest appearances of his career at LASSO Montréal on Saturday, August 15.

Hosted annually at Parc Jean-Drapeau, LASSO has become one of Canada's premier country, Americana, and folk festivals, welcoming internationally renowned artists alongside the country's most exciting emerging talent. Theo will perform with his full band on the SiriusXM Stage as part of the festival lineup, introducing thousands of festivalgoers to the songs that have defined his breakout year while previewing what's to come this fall.

If you're attending LASSO, be sure to catch Theo's set—and if you can’t make it, Petit Campus is where you'll hear the full-length & complete story.

A One-Hour Set Celebrating a New Era

Theo Day & Friends is more than just another concert—it's a celebration of everything Theo and his team at Evergreen have built over the past year.

Performing with his full band, Theo will deliver an expansive one-hour set featuring fan favourites from Homegrown, every recent single released throughout 2026, and brand-new, unreleased music making its live debut.

From intimate acoustic moments to indie-rock anthems, the show reflects the evolution of an artist finding his stride both on stage and in the studio.

Featuring Special Guests

Kassidy

Kassidy is quickly establishing himself as one of Canada's most exciting emerging neo-soul artists, blending emotionally honest songwriting with polished contemporary production and commanding vocals. Signed to Universal Music Group (Canada) and managed by Nine Live Music (run by Eliot Schul, Evergreen Music's management partner), Kassidy has been building momentum through a growing catalogue of releases, captivating live performances, and an unmistakable stage presence. His set offers the perfect opening to an evening celebrating the next generation of Canadian independent music.

Renon

Montreal-based alternative-pop artist Renon creates music that lives at the intersection of dark pop, alternative music, and jazz. Originally trained as a jazz musician, she combines infectious songwriting, powerful vocals, and theatrical storytelling with a distinctive gothic-inspired visual identity that has become synonymous with her signature pink-and-black universe. Managed by Evergreen through Victoria Vervelsky, Renon continues to establish herself as one of Montreal's most compelling emerging voices.
