Genre-bending artist and producer Brandon Barsoumian unveils his new single “Betty White,” the first glimpse into his full-length album, Sonic Division, set for release this October 2025. Haunting, cinematic, and deeply empathetic, “Betty White” is a powerful reflection on addiction, self-worth, and the glimmers of hope that remain even in life’s darkest corners. Drawing on influences from psychedelic rock and theatrical pop in film scores, Brandon’s sound evokes the immersive energy of Pink Floyd and the grand emotional arcs of Hans Zimmer.

The single was born from a vivid vision. Brandon imagines a young woman crouched beneath a streetlight, gripped by her addiction to heroin. In her pain, Brandon sees hope and a beacon of light - if only she could see her own value, she could rise into a future as luminous as the streetlight itself.

“She could shine like the timeless glow of Betty White,” Brandon says.

“Betty White” becomes a metaphor for unseen opportunity and quiet resilience, calling out to those who feel lost. The light is still there, even if it seems just out of reach.

This track marks the beginning of a bold sonic journey. In his full length album Sonic Division, Brandon blends vulnerability with strength, weaving themes of pain, redemption, and self-discovery into a sweeping soundscape that mirrors the complexity of being human in a chaotic world. A second single is slated for release later this summer, building momentum ahead of the album’s fall debut. Listeners can also expect deeper looks into his creative process with alternate versions, acoustic versions, and orchestral renditions that will unite listeners from all walks of life.

Self-produced, composed, and recorded in Brandon’s professional studio in Laval, Quebec, with mixing by David Côte of Velours Studio and mastering by Le Lab Mastering - “Betty White” is an evocative anthem that reminds us there is light in even the darkest times.
