Building Momentum: Recent Wins Across the Evergreen Music Roster
October 2026 | Evergreen Music Company
The past few months have brought exciting developments across Evergreen Music Company, from international streaming milestones and editorial playlist placements to new releases, creative collaborations, and opportunities to reach new audiences.
Across our roster, artists are continuing to develop their sound, build their audiences, and take meaningful steps forward in their careers. Behind every release is a larger process involving creative development, strategic planning, marketing, industry relationships, and a commitment to helping artists establish sustainable careers.
At Evergreen, our focus is on bringing these elements together. We work alongside artists to identify opportunities, develop their projects, and build momentum that extends beyond a single release.
As we look back on the past few months, here are some of the highlights from across our roster.
Theo Day: Building International Momentum
It's been a particularly exciting stretch for Montreal-based folk-pop artist Theo Day, whose music continues to reach new listeners both at home and internationally.
Theo has surpassed 450,000 global streams, marking an important milestone in the development of his catalogue. His recent releases have continued to build on that foundation, with "Somebody Else" delivering the strongest first-week streaming performance of his releases to date. Meanwhile, "Leave You Behind" continues to gain traction, surpassing 112,000 Spotify streams.
His momentum has extended beyond streaming. Theo was selected for Spotify's Fresh Finds 2026 programme, earned international New Music Friday placements in Iceland and Denmark, and was added to RADAR Canada. These opportunities represent meaningful steps forward as his music reaches new audiences across markets.
Theo's live career has continued to develop alongside his recorded music. He has been playing shows across Canada and opened for The White Buffalo, with upcoming opportunities to share the stage with Sam Drysdale in Toronto on October 22 and Will Dempsey on November 6.
Behind the scenes, Theo continues to expand his creative network, working with producers and collaborators including Connor Seidel, Jay Lavigne, Ethan Surman, Banx & Ranx, LucaTheProducer, and Pops & Poolboy.
For Evergreen, Theo's progress reflects the value of a long-term development approach: pairing consistent releases with strategic marketing, audience growth, live opportunities, and the relationships that help an artist take the next step.
Renon: A New Release and an Evolving Sound
Alternative-pop artist Renon is entering an exciting new chapter with the release of "Nothing's Ever Gonna Change," released October 1, 2026.
Known for combining alternative pop with darker electronic textures, theatrical elements, and emotionally direct songwriting, Renon continues to develop an artistic identity that extends beyond genre conventions.
"Nothing's Ever Gonna Change" explores difficult family relationships, mental health, and the lasting emotional weight of experiences that can follow someone from adolescence into adulthood. The track reflects Renon's commitment to writing from a personal place while continuing to push the boundaries of her sound.
Originally developed as a self-produced demo, the song evolved through months of lyric revisions before reaching its final form. The finished release also marks an important development in Renon's creative process, featuring production by Josh Cunningham, known professionally as Oliver Forest.
The single has earned placement on a Spotify playlist, providing another opportunity for listeners to discover Renon's music. Her broader media history includes previous coverage associated with outlets such as Exclaim!, CBC, A&R Factory, BuzzMusic LA, Fugue Magazine, The Link, and The Kelly Alexander Show.
While these outlets represent Renon's established media history rather than newly confirmed coverage of the latest single, they reflect the wider network of music and media relationships surrounding her career.
At Evergreen, we're excited to support Renon's continued development across creative direction, release strategy, and promotion. As she explores new sounds and builds on the foundation of previous releases, "Nothing's Ever Gonna Change" represents another step toward defining the next chapter of her project.
Memblem: Expanding Creative Connections in Electronic Music
For electronic artist and producer Memblem, recent months have focused on expanding his creative world while continuing to build on an established audience.
Working across UK garage, 140, and bass-driven sounds, Memblem has developed a catalogue that connects underground electronic influences with a growing international listener base. His project has accumulated approximately seven million streams, with an audience of around 60,000 listeners.
Recent creative developments have helped set the stage for the next phase of the project. These include collaborations with artists such as Scrufizzer, Jelani Blackman, and Kruz Leone, alongside studio work and creative connections established through sessions in London involving artists and producers including Keys N Krates.
His work with Young Art Records and the continued development of upcoming material have also helped create new opportunities for the project.
At Evergreen, our work with Memblem centres on translating creative output into sustained career growth. That includes supporting the relationships, release planning, and strategic decisions that allow an artist to expand their reach without losing sight of their sound.
The goal is to keep building on the momentum already established while creating new opportunities for the music to travel further.
Bella Galasso: Building Toward the Next Chapter
For singer-songwriter Bella Galasso, the past few months have been about building toward an important new release.
Her upcoming EP, Bury These Questions, scheduled for October 29, represents another step in the development of her catalogue and artistic identity. The campaign includes the release of "Paperweight" on September 17, introducing the next chapter of the project ahead of the full EP.
The release process has also created opportunities for collaboration, including work with Bennett Sobel and Olivia Ridgely through Evergreen's creative network, as well as Matt Nozetz at Avbury Studios.
Our focus is on giving each release a clear place within the broader story of an artist's career. That means thinking beyond release day to consider how songs connect with listeners, how campaigns build from one another, and how each project creates a foundation for what comes next.
With Bury These Questions approaching, Bella's project is another example of the ongoing creative development taking place across the Evergreen roster.
Bennett Sobel: Developing a Distinctive Body of Work
Bennett Sobel has continued to develop his songwriting and recording career through a steady focus on releases, collaborations, and the growth of his catalogue.
His recent project, Beautiful Respite, has been a key focus, with the title track serving as an important point of entry into the wider body of work.
The campaign has involved direct outreach to digital streaming platforms, editorial pitching, and communications with industry contacts to help bring the music to new audiences.
Bennett's work represents an important part of Evergreen's broader approach to artist development: giving thoughtful, artist-led projects the strategy and attention they need to reach the right listeners.
A strong release campaign isn't just about the numbers that appear on a dashboard. It's also about creating opportunities for discovery, building relationships with industry partners, and ensuring that each release contributes to the artist's longer-term trajectory.
Chris Wemp: Introducing a New Voice
One of the newest projects taking shape at Evergreen is the development of singer-songwriter Chris Wemp.
With a sound rooted in folk, Americana, and alt-country, Chris brings a distinct perspective to songwriting about hardship, love, resilience, and learning to show up for yourself. His music pairs a rugged, lived-in sensibility with a more vulnerable side, creating a compelling foundation for his developing artist identity.
His upcoming single, "Chops," scheduled for release on October 29, is an important step in introducing this project to a wider audience.
The campaign brings together music, visual storytelling, and artist positioning to establish a clear identity around the release. With visuals rooted in rural Ontario, dive-bar settings, vintage trucks, and personal connections to home, the project draws on the places and experiences that inform Chris's songwriting.
As the campaign develops, our focus is on establishing a strong foundation for the project, ensuring that the music and its accompanying visuals communicate a consistent story to listeners, media, and industry partners.
We're excited to help Chris bring this next chapter to life.
Amilyon: Supporting Independent Growth
Amilyon's project continues to demonstrate the importance of building a strategy around an artist's individual goals, audience, and creative direction.
Recent releases, including "I'm not sad im milly" and "water break," have helped establish a foundation for continued development. The project has also been supported by opportunities to connect with audiences through live performance, including touring activity alongside Hobo Johnson and Budman.
At Evergreen, the work extends beyond individual releases. We focus on helping independent artists navigate the practical side of building a career, from release planning and marketing to positioning, creative direction, and identifying opportunities that can move a project forward.
Every artist's path looks different. Our goal is to help ensure that the decisions made along the way contribute to a larger, sustainable vision.
Russell Wellner: Putting Songwriting First
Russell Wellner's work continues to explore the space between folk, singer-songwriter traditions, country, bluegrass, and Americana.
His single "James' Song," released October 8, is another step in the ongoing development of his catalogue and artistic identity.
For projects like Russell's, the focus is on allowing the songwriting to lead while building a thoughtful strategy around each release. This includes identifying the audiences most likely to connect with the music, refining how the project is presented, and creating opportunities for the songs to find their listeners.
We believe meaningful artist development requires patience, consistency, and a willingness to build around what makes each artist unique. Russell's project is a reflection of that philosophy.
More Than Releases: Building Careers Through Collaboration
Across these projects, one thing remains consistent: there is no single formula for building a music career.
Some artists are reaching new streaming milestones and expanding internationally. Others are releasing new music, developing their visual identities, strengthening creative relationships, or building the foundations for their next stage of growth.
Each milestone looks different, but all of them contribute to a larger process.
At Evergreen Music Company, our role is to help bring these pieces together through artist management, development, marketing, publishing, and sync opportunities. We work alongside artists to turn ideas into plans and plans into action, keeping the full picture in view: the music, the audience, the relationships, the opportunities, and the long-term direction of each project.
The past few months have brought plenty to celebrate across our roster. From Theo Day's growing international audience and Renon's evolving sound to Memblem's expanding creative network and the new releases taking shape across our wider community, these projects reflect the range of artists and ideas we're proud to support.
To the artists, collaborators, producers, songwriters, and industry partners who continue to be part of this journey: thank you for the trust, creativity, and work that make these milestones possible.
We're building for the long term, and we're only getting started.
